At African Party, we’re committed to delivering your orders quickly and efficiently. Here’s everything you need to know about our shipping process.
Order Processing Time
All orders are processed within 1-2 business days. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been processed and is ready for shipping or pick-up.
Store Pick-Up
Store pick-up is available to customers in Nairobi who select "Store Pick-Up" at checkout.

Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation call/SMS/email when your order is ready for collection.

Collection window: Orders must be picked up within 2 days of notification.

Late pick-ups: If your order is not collected within this timeframe, African Party reserves the right to cancel it and restock the items. Refunds will be processed minus a 10% restocking fee.

ID Required: Bring your order confirmation (digital or printed) and valid ID for verification when collecting your order.

Domestic Shipping (Within Kenya)
Nairobi Delivery: Orders placed within Nairobi will be delivered the same day or the next day. Merch in the order may delay the delivery to within 2-5 business days.
Outside Nairobi Delivery: Orders placed outside Nairobi will be delivered within 3-5 business days.
Shipping Carrier: We partner with reliable local courier services to ensure your order arrives safely and on time.
Shipping Costs: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the delivery location and the weight of the order.
International Shipping
Delivery Timeframe: All international orders will be delivered within 7-14 business days, dependent on the delivery location selected at checkout and DHL or Fedex shipping policies.
Shipping Carrier: We use DHL or Fedex for all international shipments to ensure reliable and timely delivery.
Shipping Costs: International shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the delivery location and the weight of the order.
Customs and Duties: Please note that international orders may be subject to customs and duties charges. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in the shipping costs.
Address Accuracy: Double-check your shipping details—we cannot redirect packages once shipped.
Delays: Possible due to customs inspections (we’ll assist where we can).
Shipping Confirmation and Tracking
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number. You can use this tracking number to monitor the progress of your shipment on the carrier’s website.
Delivery Issues
If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive within the estimated delivery timeframe, please contact our customer support team at sales@africanparty.com within 7 days of the expected delivery date. We will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
Important Shipping Notes
Unclaimed Deliveries: Packages returned due to failed delivery attempts will be refunded minus restocking fees and shipping costs.
Processing Time: All orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days of being placed. Orders placed after 1 PM EAT will be processed the next business day.
Damaged or Lost Orders: If your order arrives damaged or does not arrive within the estimated delivery timeframe, please contact our customer support team at sales@africanparty.com within 7 days of the expected delivery date. We will work with you to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Claims filed after may not be honoured.
Incorrect Address: Please ensure that the shipping address provided at checkout is correct. African Party is not responsible for orders shipped to incorrect addresses provided by the customer. If you need to update your shipping address, please contact us as soon as possible after placing your order.
Delays & Exceptions: While we strive to meet the stated timelines, unexpected delays due to weather, customs, or carrier issues may occur.
